About Me
I’m a curious investigator; I study and research human behavior, and explore the world and its cultures. A life of diverse experiences has prepared me for the myriad matters we therapists encounter. Before my mid-life switch to becoming a therapist, I had a career in the motion picture industry. My years of working with writers, producers, artists, and musicians attuned me to issues related to the creative process and to the search for existential meaning. I also previously lived for years in Europe and the Middle East, where I learned first hand what it means to be an immigrant and to manage both the difficulties and insights of a bi-cultural identity.
Fortunate to have been happily married for thirty-two years and raised two sons, I’m deeply committed to helping couples and families improve communication, strengthen bonds, and find wholeness and joy with one another. Whether working to lift depression and anxiety, healing family or traumatic wounds, or doing a deep exploration of inner creativity, I’m devoted to helping my clients discover their authentic, heroic self.
I look forward to talking with you, and hearing your story.
